Seats and quick actions

How many of your coach seats are used. + Add a coach gives someone a seat. + Set up a team for a coach creates a club team for them.

2

Join code

Give this code to your coaches so they can join the club themselves. If it gets passed around, make a new one and the old code stops working.

3

Club teams

Every club team, with its coach, players, sessions run against sessions planned, whether the parent team page is live, and assistants. A team waiting for a new coach shows ⏳. Tap a team to open it exactly as the coach sees it.

4

Coaches

First name, email, role, when they last opened the app (amber after 14 days), number of club teams and accreditations. Green is current, amber expires within 90 days, red has expired. Edit changes a name or role; Remove frees the seat.

5

Club notices

Short notices at the top of every club team's page for families, above the coach's own notices.

6

Club library

Up to 60 drills and plays every club coach can copy from Drills → 🏛 Club.

7

Playbook and rules

Your club's way of playing, shown on every coach's Team → Playbook. The non-negotiables become the starting rules for every new club team.

The club, coaches and teams above are made-up examples. Your dashboard shows your own club. Coaches appear by the email address they sign in with.

Getting set up

From sign-up to every team on the dashboard

  1. JumpballWe create your club and make you its administrator. Then you manage your coaches yourself.
  2. Club administratorBring your coaches in, one of two ways. Tap + Add a coach and enter their first name and the email they'll sign in with. Or tap Create a join code and send the code to your coaches. You can make someone else a club administrator too.
  3. Each coachSign up to Jumpball. Coaches you added by email are linked to the club automatically. Coaches with the code go to More → 🏛 Club, enter the code and their first name, and tap Join club.
  4. Coach or clubGet each team onto the club. A coach can link their own team (Team settings → Club / association team → Link to club). Or you can tap + Set up a team for a coach and choose the coach. If they haven't signed up yet, the team waits and appears in their app the first time they open it.
  5. Club administratorFill in the club side. Add your notices, club library, playbook and default non-negotiables, then tap Save club settings.
  6. Club administratorCheck the dashboard after a week. Look for coaches still not signed up yet, anyone not active for a few weeks, teams with no team page yet, and amber or red accreditations.
Everyday jobs

Things you'll do during the season

Club page → Club teams → tap a team

Check in on a team

See the season plan, which sessions have been run, attendance, game results, player reviews and the team chat. You can edit anything, so agree with your coaches when you'll step in.

Club page → Club notices → + Notice → Save club settings

Tell every family at once

Add a title, date and a sentence or two. The notice appears with a 🏛 at the top of every club team page. Remove it when it's done so pages stay tidy.

Club page → Club library → + Add from my library

Share club drills

Pick drills from your own library to share. Coaches copy them into theirs. Club drills stay inside your club and can't be shared to the wider coaches' community.

Club page → Club playbook

Set how the club plays

Write your offence and defence style and notes for coaches, such as development goals by age group or playing-time expectations.

Club page → Coaches

Keep accreditations current

Follow up on amber and red badges before the season or carnival deadline. Jumpball shows names and dates only. Always confirm Blue Cards and clearances on the official register.

Club page → + Add a coach, or Coaches → Remove

Add or remove a coach

Adding takes a seat straight away. Removing frees the seat; the coach keeps their own login, drills and notebook. When every seat is used, remove someone first or contact Jumpball for more seats.

Club page → Coaches → last active

See who's using it

The day each coach last opened the app. Amber means more than two weeks. A quick check-in often helps a new coach get started.

When coaches change

Handing teams over without losing the season

Because club teams belong to the club, the plans, attendance, results and player reviews stay with the team when a coach moves on. All three actions are on the club team itself: open the team from your club page, then tap Team settings.

A coach steps down mid-season

Tap Hand to another coach and pick the new coach from your club list, or choose Someone else and type their first name and email (they get a seat). The old coach loses access straight away; their own drills are untouched. If the new coach hasn't signed up yet, the team moves to them the first time they open the app.

Nobody can take the team yet

Tap Take it over myself. The team becomes yours to run, with its full history. When a new coach is ready, open the team's Team settings and tap Hand to a coach.

A coach leaves the club but keeps coaching elsewhere

Hand their club teams to new coaches first, then tap Remove next to them under Coaches. Their Jumpball login stays theirs, along with their own drill library and private notebook. They can carry on with an individual plan.

A team shouldn't be a club team

Tap Release from the club. The team goes back to its coach and disappears from your dashboard. Only a club administrator can do this; coaches can't unlink a team themselves.

Adding an assistant coach

The head coach does this on their own team (Team settings → Coaches on this team). Assistants show as +1 assistant on your dashboard. If they need their own club teams too, add them to a seat.

What the club can see

Club teams belong to the club. Coaches' own work stays theirs.

Coaches see this before they link a team, so it helps if you explain it the same way.

Message for your coaches

Copy this into your coaches' group chat or email

Hi coaches, this season the club is using Jumpball for training plans, attendance and team pages for families.

1. Sign up to Jumpball (link below). Use the email address you gave the club, or join with our club code: go to More → 🏛 Club and enter [CLUB CODE] and your first name. Your seat is already paid for.
2. Set up your team (the app walks you through it), or open the team you already have.
3. Go to Team settings → Club / association team, pick our club and tap Link to club. (If the club set up your team for you, it's already there.)
4. Publish your team page and send the link to your families from the app.
5. Optional: under More → My accreditations, add your Blue Card and coaching courses and tick "share with my club" so we can see expiry dates.

Your own drills and your private player notebook stay yours. The club can see your club team so we can help, and so the team's history stays with the team if you ever step away.

Questions

Common questions

A coach linked their team but it isn't on my dashboard.

Close and reopen Jumpball so it syncs, then open your club again. If it's still missing, check the coach linked it to your club and not a different one.

A coach says they can't see the "Club / association team" option.

They need to be in your club. Check the Coaches list on your dashboard. If they're not there, add them with + Add a coach using the exact email they sign in with, or send them the join code.

Can I create teams for my coaches?

Yes. Tap + Set up a team for a coach, give it a name and age group, and choose the coach. It starts with the club's non-negotiables. Choose I'll run it for now to set it up yourself first and hand it over later. Coaches can still create and link their own teams.

What does "last active" mean?

The last day the coach opened Jumpball. It doesn't show what they did or how long they spent. "Never signed in" means they haven't created their account yet.

Someone shared our join code outside the club.

Tap New code on the club page. The old code stops working straight away. Coaches who already joined stay, and you can remove anyone who shouldn't be there.

Can parents see the club dashboard?

No. Families only see their team's page: sessions, games, notices, and chat if the coach turns it on. Club notices appear there.

We have more than 30 coaches.

Contact Jumpball. Associations can cover up to 100 coaches on one plan.

What happens to our data if we stop the club plan?

You can export your data for 30 days after the plan ends.
